Child Evangelism Fellowship® of Northern California (CEF® NorCal) is committed to reaching children for Christ! The Central Valley North Chapter serves San Joaquin, Stanislaus, Merced, Calaveras, Tuolumne, Mariposa, Alpine, and Mono Counties. We motivate, train, equip, and support churches and Christian volunteers to evangelize boys and girls with the Gospel of Jesus Christ, disciple them in the Word of God, and establish them in a local church for Christian living.
Our ministry programs include Good News Club®, a one-hour Bible club that meets in homes, schools, and community centers for about an hour. When the Supreme Court clarified access to all public schools in 2001, most of these clubs meet weekly after school hours in public elementary schools across our area. If you have a burden for children to know who Jesus is and what He did for them, please reach out to learn more. Contact us with questions or submit an online application to Become A Volunteer and begin the screening process.
CEF NorCal Central Valley North enjoys God’s bountiful riches through Dairies, Orchards, and farm lands, several cities and rural towns here in our valley and foothills. But most of all, we enjoy reaching our precious boys and girls through Good News Clubs® and 5 Day Clubs®. Our vision is reaching every boy and girl with the Gospel of Jesus Christ, working alongside of our many evangelical churches and born again believers throughout Stanislaus, Tuolumne, Merced, Mariposa, San Joaquin, Calaveras, Mono, and Alpine Counties all for the Glory of God.

Praise God for the profitable contacts that Joel has been making in Merced County. Pray for the upcoming radio interview on KAMB (March 2). Pray that the right people will be listening during the interview who can help us expand the work into new areas

On January 25th a five-week Good News Club® started at Mary Lou Dieterich Elementary school in Modesto, and Nadya and I had the privilege of teaching alongside the team from Calvary Chapel Modesto. On the first day, one of the teachers from the school walked

Max receives Jesus at Good News Club last month One of the cardinal rules of counseling a group of children to receive Christ is to discern which children are actually there to learn more about receiving Christ, and which ones came back just for some

– Praise God for the 667 children reached in Good News Clubs (through January) and for 84 who have made professions of faith. – Praise God for the 120+ volunteers who teach those children week in and week out. – Doors have closed for now

While we aren’t aware of every circumstance that children face each day, we know generally that children living in today’s world deal with chaotic home lives and societal pressures that would have been hard to fathom just a generation ago. A prayer that Nadya and

It is already March. Two months from now the Good News Club ministry will be wrapping up for the 2019-2020 School Year. That doesn’t mean, though, that ministry will stop. No, we will be switching gears and heading into parks, front yards, and community centers

And now I will tell you the truth: Behold, three more kings will arise in Persia, and the fourth shall be far richer than them all; by his strength, through his riches, he shall stir up all against the realm of Greece. Daniel 11:2 Perhaps

Dear CEF extended Family, How quickly life can change within a few days. As one who suffers with poor vision I have relied on the YouVersion app to read the Bible each day. I love the daily scripture and start my day with it every
